rqlite is a lightweight, open-source, distributed relational database written in Go, with SQLite as its storage engine. v5.4.2 is now out, and fixes a bug related to HTTPS operation.
I really like your project and work and will be testing rqlite using the docker (running in google cloud) and probably both the rqlite-js, the knex-rqlite and the pyrqlite clients, for now mostly for time series.
I will return to the Google Group if I have any relevant insights/questions/comments to share.
