Skystream’s Mediaplex-20 provides reliable IP video delivery with forward error correction (FEC), transrating, video stream replication to different platforms simultaneously, bandwidth rate reduction, and MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 encoding and transcoding, all in the same high-density, multi-channel chassis.

I wrote embedded software for various MPEG ASI I/O modules, and for an MPEG-2 video encoding module. These modules could then be added to a Mediaplex unit, as determined by the end-user’s requirements.
